Emily is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who’s passion is to create space for her clients to observe and heal patterns that are no longer serving their well-being. Emily connects with her clients with her warmth, authenticity, humor, and optimism to encourage growth and lasting positive change. Emily’s relational approach and ability to establish comfort in sessions translates well in her work with individuals, couples, and families. Emily is skilled at helping couples navigate conflict and strengthen the qualities that initially brought them together. Emily finds joy in working with adolescents to learn how to manage their mental health, establish healthy relationships, and build confidence to become their best selves. Emily brings a realness to sessions that many find refreshing.

Emily utilizes a combination of treatment modalities in her work, tailoring sessions to best meet her clients needs and style. These include CBT, ACT, Gottman Method, Attachment Theory, ARC, FFT, ARC, and mindfulness. Emily holds space for clients of all backgrounds.

When Emily is not working, you will find her exploring with her Golden Retriever, Henry, immersing herself in  live music, and enjoying all the local gems that Portland has to offer.
